點解要更新韌體？/ Why Update Firmware at All?
韌體（firmware）係控制裝置硬件運作嘅底層軟件。廠商推出更新，通常係為咗：
Firmware is the low-level software controlling how the hardware operates. Manufacturers issue updates typically to:
- 修正已知嘅效能問題同 bug / Fix known performance issues and bugs
- 改善系統穩定性，減少死機或者自動重啟 / Improve stability, reducing crashes and spontaneous reboots
- 提升應用程式兼容性 / Improve app compatibility
- 優化影像解碼同網絡連線 / Optimise video decoding and network connectivity
如果你嘅裝置出現間歇性問題，而重啟同清理快取都解決唔到，檢查有冇韌體更新係值得嘅一步。
If you're seeing intermittent problems that restarting and clearing caches don't resolve, checking for a firmware update is a worthwhile step.
更新前準備 / Before You Update

確保電源穩定：更新途中斷電係令裝置變磚嘅頭號原因。唔好喺打雷、電力唔穩定嘅時候更新。
Ensure stable power — loss of power mid-update is the number one cause of bricking. Don't update during storms or when your supply is unreliable. -
確保網絡穩定：如果可以，用有線連接，或者確保 WiFi 訊號良好。
Ensure a stable connection — use Ethernet if available, or make sure WiFi signal is strong. -
預留足夠儲存空間：更新檔需要空間下載同解壓。
Free up storage — the update package needs room to download and unpack. -
記低現有設定：部分更新會重設偏好設定。
Note your current settings — some updates reset preferences. -
預留時間：唔好喺趕住睇嘢之前更新。
Allow time — don't start an update right before you want to watch something.
更新步驟 / The Update Procedure
- 喺主畫面進入設定 / Open Settings from the home screen
- 搵「關於」或者「系統更新」選項 / Find About or System Update
- 選擇檢查更新 / Select Check for updates
- 如果有可用更新，確認下載 / If an update is available, confirm the download
- 下載完成後，按指示開始安裝 / Once downloaded, follow the prompts to install
- 等待更新完成，期間唔好做任何嘢 / Wait for it to finish — do nothing during this time
- 裝置會自動重啟，首次開機可能較慢，屬正常 / The device will reboot automatically; the first boot may be slower than usual, which is normal
更新期間五個絕對唔好做嘅事 / Five Things Never to Do During an Update

唔好拔電源 — 最重要一項。
Never unplug the power — the single most important rule. - 唔好拔 HDMI 或者網線 / Don't disconnect HDMI or Ethernet.
- 唔好按重啟或者關機 / Don't press restart or power off.
- 唔好安裝其他應用程式 / Don't install other apps.

就算畫面好似停咗都要耐心等 — 更新過程中畫面靜止一段時間係正常嘅。
Be patient even if the screen appears frozen — periods of apparent inactivity are normal during an update.
更新後仲有問題？/ Still Having Issues After Updating?
更新後如果出現新問題，可以先嘗試清理應用程式快取，或者將裝置還原至出廠設定再重新設定（設定 → 更多 → 重置）。詳細步驟可以參考 安裝教學 同 問題排解頁面。

如果裝置喺更新後完全無法開機，請即刻 聯絡我們，並參考 售後服務與保固。
If the device will not boot at all after an update, contact us immediately and refer to After-Sales Service & Warranty.
